Economic Vitality Draft Goal 2: Promote Uniqueness of Tucson.

a. Emphasize local people and cultures to enhance the sense of place
b. Emphasize the importance of immigrants in placemaking
c. Celebrate our heritage and traditions
d. Improve marketing of Tucson’s arts and culture
e. Highlight local heritage foods/City of Gastronomy
f. Promote locally produced goods
g. Increase tourism
h. Highlight and inform the public of the economic benefits brought by events/festivals
i. Support arts and culture events across the City
j. Improve access to arts and culture events across the City
k. Increase events, attractions, and leisure activities
l. Invest in arts and culture programs in schools and community centers
m. Identify funding opportunities for arts and culture
n. Promote Tucson as a filming location
