    Water, Climate Action and Green Space Goal 1: Reduce the community's carbon footprint.

    a. Apply resources so that energy transition is accessible for all 

    b. Decarbonize the electric grid 

    c. Increase energy security  

    d. Improve energy equity  

    e. Diversify energy sources  

    f. Develop a region-based approach to become carbon neutral   

    g. Develop locally produced renewable energy technologies 

    h. Collaborate with local utility providers to reduce carbon footprint  

    i. Promote non-fossil-fuel transit options 

    j. Make land use decisions that enhances the connectivity between residential and commercial development 

    k. Improve energy efficiency of buildings  

    l. Reduce waste in landfills

    Water, Climate Action and Green Space Draft Goal 2: Promote responsible use of water.

    a. Match water source with water use  

    b. Incentivize water conservation  

    c. Increase water knowledge to develop good water stewards  

    d. Reinforce resiliency in water planning 

    e. Increase capture and use of existing water 

    f. Improve surface water and groundwater quality 

    g. Allow natural runoff to maintain and recharge aquifers

    a. Reduce noise pollution 

    b. Decrease light pollution/support dark skies   

    c. Address inequitable burdens of pollution on communities and in health

    a. Maintain natural open space
