Community Resources Draft Goal 3: Support a safe, vibrant and collaborative community.

a. Provide equitable and timely emergency response 

b. Provide and promote varied community-based health and safety resource 

c. Reduce housing insecurity   

d. Promote neighborhoods that are physically and socially active 

e. Include storm to shade elements in infrastructure design 

f. Promote strong resident leadership in neighborhoods 

g. Foster neighborhood and city-wide pride 

h. Develop neighborhood centers 

i. Increase neighborhood connectivity 

j. Address extreme poverty and support unsheltered populations 

k. Improve safety and cleanliness of public spaces 

l. Promote harm reduction strategies for substance use disorders 

m. Reduce violence  

n. Eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries  

o. Provide a safe travel experience for all modes of transportation 

p. Improve multi-modal transportation to create a safe and reliable system 

q. Educate the community on emergency and non-emergency resources
