During the first phase of community outreach in Spring 2023, Tucson residents will be asked to share their priorities and vision for the future of our City. This was an opportunity for the community to learn about the City’s recent efforts, assess our challenges and needs, and guide Tucson’s long-term direction. Plan Tucson will be on the ballot for voter approval in November 2025.
The Plan Tucson kicked off the update with an open house on January 19, 2023. Participants who attended the event could stop at various stations involving numerous City departments to explore and share input on various environments surrounding Tucson.

The goals and policies spelled out in the next Plan Tucson will guide the City’s investments, programs, policies, and land-use decisions over the next two decades.
